What “Free” Includes
The free tier is not a trial — it is fully functional with no time limit. You get:
- All seven bundled assistants
- Train your own AI assistants – as many as you need
- Chat interface for each AI assistant
- Scheduled tasks and event automation
- Full permission and approval system
- Audit logging
- Use on unlimited sites
The only limitations are: no marketplace assistant downloads, and a small “Powered by Agent Builder” text in the chat footer.
When to Upgrade
Personal License is right for you if:
- You want the latest features and security patches
- You want to install marketplace assistants
- You want to list your AI assistants for sale
- You want to remove the “Powered by” branding
- You need the plugin for multiple WordPress sites
- You want expedited support
Agency is right for you if:
- You manage more than three WordPress sites
- You build AI assistants and want to sell them
- You run an agency and need white-label branding for clients
- You want marketplace access across all your sites
- You want to talk to a real support person
AI Provider Costs Are Separate
Your license fee covers the Agent Builder plugin and marketplace access. AI provider costs (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google, or Mistral) are billed separately by those providers based on your usage.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is included in the free tier — is it really unlimited?
Yes. The free tier has no time limit, no conversation limit, and no feature trial countdown. You can install Agent Builder on as many WordPress sites as you want, run all seven bundled assistants, build your own custom agents, run scheduled tasks, use event automation, and access the full permissions and audit log system — all without ever paying anything. The only functional limits are: you cannot download agents from the marketplace, and a small “Powered by Agent Builder” line appears in the chat footer. Everything else is fully available to free users permanently.
Does my license cover all WordPress sites I manage, or just one?
Licenses are counted by activation, not by domain. The Personal plan allows 3 activations and the Agency plan allows 25. One activation = one WordPress site (or one subsite in a multisite network). You can deactivate a license from one site and use the slot for another — activations are not permanently assigned. If you need more than 25 activations, contact support to discuss a volume arrangement. Remember that the free plan allows unlimited site installs — the activation limit only applies to the premium features unlocked by the license.
If I do not renew my license, what happens to my sites?
If your license expires, premium features are no longer available — marketplace agents will not download, and branding will reappear if you had it hidden. Agents you already installed from the marketplace continue to function; you just cannot download new ones. All other features (bundled assistants, custom agents, scheduled tasks, event automation) keep working normally on the free tier. Your data, settings, and agent configurations are preserved. You can renew your license at any time to restore premium access.
How is the Agent Builder license fee different from my AI provider costs?
The Agent Builder license fee covers the plugin itself and marketplace access — it is a one-time or annual software fee paid to Agentic. AI provider costs (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google, Mistral) are usage-based and billed separately by those companies directly to you based on the number of tokens processed. Agent Builder has no visibility into your AI provider billing and does not mark up or pass through those costs. For typical usage — a few hundred conversations per month — AI provider costs are usually under $5/month with GPT-4o Mini or xAI Grok. Can I sell AI agents I build using the Assistant Trainer?
Yes — Personal and Agency license holders can list agents for sale in the Agent Builder marketplace. You build the agent using the no-code Assistant Trainer (or as a developer-built custom agent), submit it for review, set a price, and receive a revenue share on each sale. Buyers install your agent as a premium .zip file on their own WordPress sites, and Agent Builder handles license verification. There is no requirement to have developer skills — if you have built a well-configured agent that solves a specific problem (e.g., a WooCommerce product description generator), it is eligible for the marketplace.
