Slack Channel

The Slack channel connects your AI assistants to a Slack workspace for human escalation. When a conversation needs human attention, the assistant can forward it to a Slack channel.

Setup

  1. Go to Agent Builder → Tools & Channels
  2. Click the Slack sub-tab
  3. Enter your Slack Bot Token and Signing Secret from your Slack app configuration
  4. Click Save

Creating a Slack App

  1. Visit api.slack.com/apps and click Create New App
  2. Choose From scratch and give it a name (e.g. “Agent Builder”)
  3. Under OAuth & Permissions, add the required bot scopes
  4. Install the app to your workspace
  5. Copy the Bot User OAuth Token and Signing Secret into Agent Builder settings
