Installation Guide

Before You Install

Make sure your site meets these requirements:

  • WordPress 6.4+ — Update WordPress first if needed
  • PHP 8.1+ — Most hosts offer PHP 8.1 or 8.2 by default. Check in Tools → Site Health → Info → Server
  • Active internet connection — The plugin communicates with AI providers via their APIs

Install from WordPress Admin

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New
  3. Type “Agent Builder” in the search box
  4. Find the plugin by Agentic and click Install Now
  5. After installation completes, click Activate

Install from ZIP File

If you downloaded Agent Builder as a ZIP file:

  1. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  2. Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now
  3. Click Activate Plugin

After Installation

Once activated, the Setup Wizard launches automatically to help you connect an AI provider step by step. If you prefer to configure things manually, skip the wizard and head to Agent Builder → Settings to connect an AI provider.

You can re-run the Setup Wizard at any time from the Agent Builder → Dashboard.

Updating

With a Personal or Agency license, the plugin updates automatically through WordPress. Free users can reinstall from the plugin directory to get the latest version.
