Purchasing a Marketplace Agent

1

Browse available Agents

Browse for agents and find one you'd like to buy or is free. Each listing shows the price, what the agent does, and user ratings.

2

Click "Buy Now" on the agent's page

You'll see a checkout form on the same page. Enter your email address, name, and card details. No Stripe account or redirect is needed — payment happens in-place.

3

Download your zip immediately after payment

Once payment succeeds you'll see a Download Now button and your unique license key. Click the button to download the agent zip file. Your license key is also emailed to you — save this email.

Tip: Download the zip straight away while the secure link is active. You can always re-download from My Account later.
📦

Installing a Marketplace Agent

1

Open your WordPress admin

Go to Agent Builder → Agents → Upload Agent (or Add New).

2

Upload the zip file you downloaded

Select the zip file exactly as downloaded. Do not rename it, unzip it first, or modify any files before uploading — the agent zip contains a license file that must remain intact.

Important: Each license activates on up to 5 sites by default. If you need the agent on more sites, purchase an additional license — or free up an activation with Reset Activation in My Account.
3

Activation happens automatically

During upload, the plugin validates your license with our server and activates the agent for your domain. If validation succeeds you'll see a green success notice. The agent will then appear in your agents list, ready to use.

Plugin license not required. You don't need a Personal or Agency plugin license to purchase and install a marketplace agent. Each agent carries its own license.
⚠️

Activation Errors — What They Mean

If the upload fails, you'll see one of the following error messages. Find yours below to fix it.

Error message
Cause
Fix
This agent has already been activated on another site.
The zip was previously uploaded to a different WordPress install.
If you're moving sites, contact support to transfer the activation.
If you didn't install it elsewhere, your download link may have been used without your knowledge — contact support immediately.
This license file is not valid.
The zip was manually modified, or the .license file inside was deleted or corrupted.
Re-download the original zip from My Account and upload the fresh copy without modifying it.
Your license for this agent has expired.
Your annual license for this agent passed its renewal date.
Go to My Account and renew the license. After renewal, re-download and re-upload the zip. See Expiry & Renewal below.
This license file does not match the agent being installed.
The zip filename was changed after download, causing the file to be identified as the wrong agent.
Re-download the zip from My Account. Do not rename the file — use it exactly as downloaded.
Could not reach the license server. Please try again.
Your server couldn't connect to agentic-plugin.com during activation. This can be caused by a firewall, restrictive PHP settings, or a temporary network issue.
  1. Wait 5 minutes and try uploading again.
  2. Ask your hosting provider to whitelist outbound HTTPS requests to agentic-plugin.com.
  3. If the problem persists, submit a support ticket — we can provide an offline activation code.
agent stopped working after site migration? If you moved your WordPress site to a new domain, the local activation check will fail because it's bound to your old domain. See Managing Licenses below.

Managing Your agent Licenses

Where can I see all my purchased agents?

Log in and go to My Account → agents. Each purchase is listed with its license key, activation status, expiry date, and a re-download link.

Can I install the same agent on multiple sites?

Each purchase activates on up to 5 sites by default. If you need the same agent on more sites, purchase an additional license from the marketplace listing.

How do I move an agent to a different domain?

Activation is domain-bound. To transfer to a new domain:

  1. Go to My Account → agents and click Reset Activation next to the agent.
  2. Re-download the zip for the agent.
  3. Upload it to your new site — activation will complete against the new domain.

If the Reset Activation button isn't available, contact support and we'll reset it for you within a few hours.

I use staging and production — do I need two licenses?

Your license includes 5 site activations by default, so staging and production usually fit under one license. If you need more activations:

  • Easiest: Only install the agent on production. Use the free version (if available) on staging.
  • Additional license: Purchase a second copy for staging — it's the same price, just a separate activation.
  • Reset & re-activate: Use the Reset Activation flow when switching between staging and production.

I accidentally deleted the agent — can I reinstall it?

Yes. Go to My Account, re-download the zip, then upload it to your site. Because you're reinstalling on the same domain, the activation server recognises the site URL and allows it.

🔄

Expiry & Renewal

What happens when my license expires?

Licenses are annual. When yours expires:

  • 30 days before: An admin notice appears in your WordPress dashboard with a renewal link.
  • At expiry: The agent continues running for a 7-day grace period with an urgent notice.
  • After grace period: The agent stops loading. Your WordPress site is unaffected — only the AI agent stops responding.

How do I renew?

  1. Go to My Account → agents and click Renew next to the expired agent.
  2. Complete the checkout. A new download link will appear.
  3. Download the new zip and upload it to your site — this re-activates the agent for another year.
Note: Renewing does not automatically re-activate the installed agent. You must re-upload the new zip after renewing to get a fresh activation.

Will I lose my agent's data or configuration if it expires?

No. The agent's configuration, any stored history, and WordPress data it has created all remain intact. Only the AI capabilities stop working until you renew. Once you renew and re-upload, everything picks up where it left off.
